Hello my daughter is 1 n half year she got phlegm can anyone tell how to get out of this

A. if the child is one and half years old with balgam and cough cough is a protective mechanism of body which may be due to infection or allergy . it needs proper assessment before giving any medicine presently steam inhalation can be given it will be beneficial
