Q.

Hello!! my baby had given a measles vaccine at 10 months now she's 12 month old and she's suffering from measles due to massive outbreak in mumbai..there's an extra measles vaccine they are giving to babies .. is it safe? and can i give my baby an extra measles vaccine when she's suffering from measles? kindly reply

A. definitely it is safe and it should be given to the child it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification

A. If there is an extra dose which doctors or suggesting personally to go ahead with then you should go ahead with that I believe because the doctors would have a better knowledge and if they suggest the new definitely should be going ahead with that
