hello, my 4 months old baby girl is suffering from cough and cold. what to do? please suggest

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most oicf the time it is viral in the origin need to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalation and some home remedies cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
