Q.

Hello Dr, my son is 8 months old and having fever 100-101.. after giving crocin syrup he is ok for 4-5 hrs... then again his body temperature rise..he is crying alot since yesterday..else he never cries...

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprof gfden and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. Hi parents please keep your child well hydrated properly please measure tempretur with Babyhug digital thermometer please consult with your pediatrician about this matter
