hello dr.my son is 1.3 yrs old..and he has head and legs hands palm are hot ,body is cool..why this happens...

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
You have to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100F or more.
The warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas which is normal.

However, recently, the World Health Organization states that baby's hands and feet should be pink and warm. Warm and pink feet of the baby indicate that the baby is in thermal comfort.
