hello dr my daughter has 104 degree fever i have given her fevago paracetomol syrup 6ml and meftal p 2.5 ml together at once is it ok

A. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever . Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks . Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needed . Lukewarm sphionge bath can be given as home remedy to decrease fever. j Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial. Urine output monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

A. Why have to medicines at a stretch at the same time that’s not supposed to be done please post gay one lakhs and only for fever Pratap to take up one out of the two which one e volume Ento guess and which one was suggested by a doctor
