hello dr. my baby is 6months old. having rough n dry skin from last 2-3weeks specially cheeks n chin.. pls suggest something

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi parents your KD 6 months old and your notice dry skin on the face and cheeks, the reason maybe e seasonal predominantly, to give more fluids to the child, apply coconut oil over the skin and moisturizing cream of the face....

Try applying pure coconut oil on the affected area to reduce the discomfort. Give a well balanced healthy diet and keep your baby hydrated all through the day. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Continue breastfeeding.
