My daughter had a small cut on her finger from broken floor marbel tile, she was bleeding till 20-25 mins, when applying turmeric bleeding stopped, and after 3-4 hours the wound seems ok, bu i have a doubt, should i take her to her pediatrician for tetanus shot or the vaccination given her till 17 months includes tetanus vaccine.

Accepted Answer

if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccinatiosn at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule.
if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decision ozf tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor.
