Hello Doctor, My son is 3 months old, and in the vaccine chart, it is mentioned as PCV, is this compulsory, as we have not found this vaccine anywhere, instead here medical shop person is suggesting to go with alternate vaccine which is pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine, please suggest which medicine is good for 3 months old baby and is this compulsory?

A. PCV stands for pneumococcal conjugate vaccine so the vaccine you have shown in the picture is the same vaccine so you can give this vaccination to the child for pneumococcal vaccine
