hello doctor. my son is 2 months 2 days. His head not coming in shape. Become 1 side flat. i am trying to sleep him on right side. Then also it is not coming to round shape. What to do pls suggest me

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. due to pressure on one side of the head during sleeping there is flatness / abnormal shape on that side of the head.
no treatment is required for flat head / bumpy head and you will see that by one year to two years of age xthe flat head will go away as soon as the child begins to sit and later walk.
pillows will not help much in this case so do not worry.
the bones in the skull are elastic so to give space to the growing brxain it takes different shape and when the growth of the brain occurs properly then gradually they will take a normal shape
