Hello doctor My son has open mouth breathing persisting on and off for past 6 months Doctor says it’s adenoids but since he has cold X-ray not done He is in furamist spray for past 5 months with gap of 15 days. But no much improvement ENT SAYS surgery may be required Is there no other way to reduce enlarged aedonoids

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr old boy1 Year agoA. Hello my dear parent! Enlarged adenoids definitely needs constant observation and surgery. Because in the long run, there will be a lot of discomfort in the child because of this problem. I would advise you to follow your doctors advice and get the treatment done as told.
