Q.

hello doctor, my baby turned 9th month and she fell down, my baby has started constipation after eating rice and dal mix for lunch and I keep oats with Badam for breakfast so do I need to change anything or would you please suggest what food to give for 9th month baby as chart.

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre zdiet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food addingd papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. You should give more of water in liquid to a child that helps in maintaining proper digestion and pooping is also going to be proper with that and if your child fell down with a lot of intensity then you should get it checked with your doctor doctor to know what is the situation currently
