Hello Doctor ! My baby is 2 years 5 months old , he understands very well , explains very well but only through gestures or by pointing , he doesn’t speak , he speaks only Mumma , tata , bye and monosymbols like ba, ka , da like this . What to do ? Is this a cause of concern ? What should I do ?

A. yes this is a chance ncern language development is an indicator of brain development . Baby should start Baba mama by 8 months . Baby should be avoided for any screen time like smart phone or TV . Consult a speech therapist and doctor to avoid any speech delay .
