Q.

hello Doctor my 3 years old has a fever frequently in 1&2 months and especially at nights. why is this happening? he doesn't eat fruits, so because of it? otherwise, he is an active child, but because of fever, I worry a lot. At the age of 3.5 years, which vaccine has to be given to him? in his vaccination card, 1 vaccine is mentioned, i.e., influenza, but till now, he hasn't taken that vaccine. so because of this, fever occurs so often?

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It can be due to some infection in the baby. kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having. whether higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p)are required or not will be told by thde doctor. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever do body sponge and give plenty of water to drink and easily digestible food. Thanks and take care
