hello doctor I m mother of 22 days old baby boy .
My kid is facing frequent potty issue doing 15-20 times a day 7 days back we had his stool test which resulted in infection from last 6 days we are giving him medicine of infection but having no progress some days he had thick potty but several times having watery stool . Please suggest as a mother what precautions I should take or which medicine can treat him

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is afussociated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
