hello doctor,I have cervical cerclage during my first pregnancy at 5th month.is it any possible if it happen again r not at second pregnancy.can u please tell me

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. While doing sonography, check for cervical length. And according to that, if it is more than 3.3 centimeters, then there is no need to go for cervical encirclage again.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. hello it would really depend and this your gynecologist would be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly and it would be better to check with her and go as advised by your doctor which could be better and safe also
