Q.

Hello doctor.....I have 5month baby girl....she is completely breastfeeding now....till now I didn't get periods but today I have kept copper t...now I have doubt it will effect on breastfeeding ?and now onwards periods will come regularly?

A. in case you are a breastfeeding mom then you can experience irregular periods or amenorrhea till one year due to hormonal fluctuations. take iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly ..

A. Hello dear parent! There shouldn’t be any problem. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby. If you are still concerned better consult your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
