Hello doctor..i have 4 months old baby. can you tell the symptoms of head injury in babies. actually today what happened is we are travelling in auto for vaccination. i just lift my baby up in auto to adjust and comfort my baby. That auto has a rod handle. while I am lifting my baby head close to the rod. whether it had hit or not I don't know. my baby still crying due to vaccination. I have a doubt regarding this hit. my baby is normal she is smiling. moving actively. there is no any bump on head.

A. it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like severe headache or excessive crying or excessive vomiting or abnormal movements or lethargy or seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination. if none of above danger signs are present then you can follow wait and watch policy for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swelling on the head. also apply ice locally. meet your doctor for this
