hello doc ... my 2 years old baby has rectal prolapse... it's second time it is protruding out from anus while she was pooping. she had a checkup with a surgeon also today only.. doc sad it swelling in muscles..but today evening it again came out wile she was pooping. I am very much tensed. Looking forward for any ray of hope.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. no problem a minor surgery can be done to keep it intact Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

Trust your doctor and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. If you are still concerned then go for a second personal opinion. Good luck and take care.
