Hello, Doc. I am a lacting mother of 10 months 10 days old. As in our country vaccination is going on against covid 19, can I get vaccinated? As there is lot of confusion about it. plz guide us. Regards.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. according to the current guidelines the recommendation for lactating mothers pregnant women and children is not there for covid-19 vaccine so it cannot be given to these category of people so wait so you should not get

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Avoid for now It is still not known that this vaccination is safe for the breast feeding mothers or not. U can wait for some more time or till u quit breastfeeding. Also consult with your doctor for the same.
