For healthy weight gain, it is important to include fat and protein rich foods in the diet like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, eggs, chicken, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado and milk. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water.
