Q.

Hello, 11 months old baby girl. Weight 8.9kg she is running high temperature 103 C We gave her Calpol at 7.30 pm , but by 11:30 pm her temperature was 103 C. Have tried follwong 1. Gave her calpol 1.3 ml again at 12 midnight 2. Did water sponging ( normal room temp water) This has brouht down temp by 0.5 degree. What else can be done ? Can we give her Calpol more frequently than 6 hours ?

A. see doctor now.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

A. No Minimum six hours you should be dead and you should immediately rushed to the hospital with your child it is a really high fever if the fever reaches the brain of the child that it is going to be very difficult because the complications are going to increase so kindly go to the doctor right now and get your child check that start with another course of antibiotics please do not wait
