Q.

gd evning sir, my son is 4 and half years old.today he got his due vaccinations DTwp b2,opv3 and typhoid at the same time (three injections ).he got fever and injection pain also sir.is it ok sir?or this is due to too many injections? sir sujjest medications if any sir?

A. it is due to the vaccine and its fine when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Hello dear parent! Absolutely normal. Give paracetamol drops can be given. If there is severe discomfort then inform your doctor and seek treatment. Keep Babyhug medicine dropper handy. Good luck and take care
