Dr sir,mera baby 18month ka hai Uska 5day pehle teeka lga tha do vaccine thigh me ek upper arm m thigh ki dard nhi ja rhi h swelling bhi h baby hath nhi lagane deta h aur 100 fever bhi aa rha h ,pls help me

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. after painful vaccines like dpt which comes with pentavalent vaccine
can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also.
it does not require any treatment and shoulxd go away on its own.
after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrzombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting

If it has already been five days then you kindly re-consult your doctor because it should have become better in two or three days maximum if it has been continuous for such a long time and that would not be a good thing it’s better to take an advice from your paediatrician on thisWrite Your Answer Here
