Basically doing your housework will help is what people said in olden days.
The idea is that when you sit and mop floor the Pelvic bone widens a bit.
Even regular walking will help.
So don’t mop floors

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Mopping, washing clothes, cleaning the floor and other chores which requires you to bend is not recommended during pregnancy. Pregnancy weight gain can cause a marginal shift in the body's centre of gravity and bending during this time can be risky for the sciatic nerve (runs from the lower back to the leg).
