cough and cold with chest congestion. Dr suggested Noblok syrup 2.5ml thrice daily. is it okay to give this syrup to a 5 month old baby?

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can bef used in avf proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. Hi 2.5 ml Is actually too much at this age kids normally or given five drops of a medicine to watch three times in a day 2.5 ML is quite a lot and one time your child will not be able to digest this much of a medicine you should consult your doctor for the correct dosages
