A. Yes, Welminic (typically used for cold symptoms) and Calpol 120 (paracetamol, used for pain and fever) can generally be given together, but it's always essential to be cautious with the timing and dosage. Since it's been 3 hours since you gave Welminic, you can safely give Calpol to manage the pain in your 2-year-old's toe. Dosage for Calpol 120 (Paracetamol): For a 2-year-old child: The usual recommended dose of Calpol 120 mg/5 ml suspension is 2.5 mL to 5 mL, depending on the weight of the child, typically given every 4-6 hours as needed. However, avoid giving more than 4 doses in 24 hours and ensure a minimum gap of 4 hours between doses of Calpol. Summary: Since it's been 3 hours since Welminic, you can give Calpol for pain relief. Administer 2.5 mL to 5 mL of Calpol 120, depending on your child's weight. Ensure that you don't exceed 4 doses of Calpol within a 24-hour period. If the pain persists or worsens, or if you're unsure about the correct dosage, consult your pediatrician for further guidance.
