there is no problem in making the child wear diaper throughout the day but the most important thing iiis that it should not cause skin allergy as well as you have to change it frequently before urine accumulation causes perianal rash.
you can apply coconut oil before making the child wear diaper which will help in decreasing the chances of rash

Change diaper frequently every 4-5 hours of intervals wash area often with lukewarm water keep diaper free time in daytime apply coconut oil or olive oil twice daily diaper rash cream regularly everytime you change diaper
