Q.

Can I use sugar and salt for my baby?? Have read in blogs about not to give it to baby! But my doctor said yes to it! I’m confused about that!!

A. Don't.. Salt will be a burden on the tiny kidneys and the kidney’s will not be able to function properly due to the excessive load. And babies get required amount of salt from regular diet and bm. You can make your baby food more interesting and tasty by adding spices appropriate to the age of the baby. Sugar is refined by lot of chemical processes which may be harmful to children. Excess sugar may cause caries andtooth decay in children. Excess of sugar may depress immunity. And leads to obesity, diabetes. You can add natural sweetener in baby food- Any fruit can be added to baby food to make them naturally sweet..

A. as per my personal experience definitely a little amount should be added in the food of the baby to give the flavour to the baby and according to the new new things which are coming in the market previously doctor used to say don't give anything till one year and then they safe to 2 years then one day will come tables upto 5 years don't give anything to the baby this only the companies are making the prophet you are not getting anything out of it a child nutrition is important
