Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely .
According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app.
Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol .
Presently children are not included in this list.
Mothers can feed their child as soon as requirehd after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl4 years agoA. Yes You can but a lot of women suffer with issues like high fever or you know body pain or something if you have any of such issues then you should avoid breastfeeding the child otherwise you can definitely continue breastfeeding the child
