can breastfeeding mom take vaccine. baby is 6 months

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. current guidelines are that covid vaccination is not for pregnant ,nursing mothers and children but there are recent studiesthat support the vaccination .so u need to chose aftehgr consulting ur Doctor

well from the advice of many pediatricians and gynecologists it is good to take the vaccine for lactating mothers.
on other hand , the government of India is not recommending it but there are good numbers of studies which Suggest that lactating mothers can take the vaccine.
so the decision is yours.
but personally I advise you to visit your gynecologist before taking the Vaccine.
