by what age should we let the baby to try and eat on her own?

A. it's totally your choice. some people try baby led weaning itself. so ots your decision. baby should be able to hold and eat himself. then you can decide. till then feed the baby yourself so that baby gets enough nutrition. feed any solid or semi solid food after completion of six months.

Q. My daughter is 5 years old but she does not eat by herself, I have to feed her, she does all the other work, she helps me in the kitchen and in the garden, she writes on her own but does not eat on her own. Earlier when she used to eat on her own, she did not eat properly due to which she became very sick and her health also deteriorated a lot. Now since I have started feeding her, her health is fine and her weight is also correct, I am unable to understand how to make her get used to eating on her own.
