Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with managegjment for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be badcterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Emset 2.5 ML can be given to the child currently and also you can repeat the medicine after 8 to 10 hours if it is needed but if the vomiting is still not in control then it would be important that you talk to your paediatrician ones regarding this
