Yes, you can apply sunscreen to babies, but with caution: For babies under 6 months, it's generally advised to avoid sunscreen and instead keep them in the shade, dress them in light, protective clothing, and use hats. For babies over 6 months, you can safely apply a baby-friendly sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, preferably mineral-based with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, as these are gentle and less likely to irritate sensitive skin. Apply sunscreen 15–30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours or after sweating or water play.
