Baby is prone to cold and cough frequently

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of couggh.
if fever is there pafracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Then you should get a check for an allergy because when kids get frequent a cold or cough issues most of the times it is due to some kind of an allergy only if you want you can more certainly go ahead with getting an allergy test done for the child that is going to give you more clarity on the situationWrite Your Answer Here
