Try doing this exercise you go to a room which is completely dark and then you tell your child see I am going nothing is there nothing is happening that’s one thing that you should do secondly you should make your child friendly with all the switches into the room that when you enter the room there is a sweet so you can immediately put on the light if you feel scared and that is what is going to be helpful I think regular counselling really helps a lot
