Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.d
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy1 Year agoA. Hai good evening !! If baby is gaining weight, peeing normal 7-8 times ,tummy looks full (tummy will be round ).
If not gaining average weight, tummy looks flat even after feed, waking frequently and crying ,peeing less and also you feel lighter in breasts these are signs of baby bot getting enough feed.
Sometimes due to diaper /nappy discomfort, for latching they wakes up in middle, gently rubbing or patting or giving few minutes feed they get back to sleep while feeding (dream feed).
