Q.

#asktheexperts while My 2 month old child take vaccines on 1.5 months in private hospital, they did not give the OPV, but give IPV vaccine.. but as per the Government free vaccine schedule they could provide the Both .. now it’s skipped.. what should I do?

A. Yes of course you can get done both of them that is a good idea in fact it is just going to give double protection to the child and even if you have missed OPV but you have GotIPV done and there is no problem at least you’re covering it one way which is just fine

Q. #asktheexperts My wife delivered boy baby on 5th of August in a private hospital where they have prescribed 6 vaccine 1)DTwP¹, 2) IPV 1² + OPV 1, 3) Hep B2, 4) Hib 1 5) Rotavirus 1¹ 6) PCV 1 at the 45th day. But while checking with the government primary health centre they prescribed only 5 vaccine 1) OPV 1 2) Penta 1 3) Rota 1 4) IPV 1 5) PCV 1 . Can we take 5 vaccine at the PHC and the remaining in private hospital. Or shall we get my vaccination in the PHC itself since we couldn't afford the total cost of the vaccines in private hospital. Herewith attached the vaccination chart prescribed by both private hospital and PHC.
