#asktheexperts What should I do if my baby doesn’t latch or milk is delayed initially? Also when should we consider formula feeding, it at all? And should I buy breast pump before hand?

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 8 m old boy2 days agoA. Hello my dear parent! Not every child will have latching issues every time. There can be some sort of hiccups in the first few days. But you should be patient and persistent in your efforts to feed your child on demand. Regarding the formula feed you need to get in touch with your doctor to understand it further if it is required or not.
