Spinach (keerai) – mash well or add to dal
Lentils (paruppu) – moong dal, toor dal, masoor dal
Dates (perichampazham) – soak & mash or mix in milk
Beetroot – puree, poriyal, or dosa batter mix
Chickpeas (kondakadalai) – mash or sundal (soft)
Sesame seeds (ellu) – powder and add to food
