Q.

#asktheexperts unable to talk at 2 yr 1 month except " Ma, Baba,No ayy", what to do at home, we r talking as much as possible

A. No need to worry... every child is different, some starts talking by 1 year, some at 2 or 3 and some starts after 3 to 4 years old. if he says ma, pa and no need to worry. reduce screen time, introduce him to more intellectual games of his age, let him play with many kids for being socialize. just don't rush on him. slow and steady wins the race. just keep doing above things. main is to reduce screen time of mobile and TV

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .vhu just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
