#asktheexperts This month is my son’s teething month so I think he lost weight like 300-500 gms due to diaria so how can I gain his weight

A. Hi kids suffer from loose motions, loss of appetite and weight loss/ slow weight gain during the teething phase.. don't worry as this condition is temporary and will subside after the eruption process of teeth.

A. hi dear The teething process does not particularly lead to any weight loss. But teething can lead to diarrhoea, low food intake and a fever which may prevent the child from taking enough nutrition leading to weight loss.
