#asktheexperts My son is five months old. He is breastfeeding. When he emits gas, it's too smelly. Do I have to take any medicine for this reason?

A. Intake of certain gas producing foods by mother can cause farts in babies.the mother eating lots of citrus fruits and dairy products can lead to flatulence in infants in the same way. Avoid consuming these substance., burp well post each feeding.

A. hello actually as a breastfeeding mother is completely depends on your food intake because it comes in the form of breast milk to your baby so firstly you have to be very careful like whatever the food intake you are taking
