#asktheexperts My son is five months old. He is breastfeeding. When he emits gas, it's too smelly. Do I have to take any medicine for this reason?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Intake of certain gas producing foods by mother can cause farts in babies.the mother eating lots of citrus fruits and dairy products can lead to flatulence in infants in the same way.
Avoid consuming these substance., burp well post each feeding.
