#asktheexperts my son has vaccinated 3rd dose on Tuesday and he had fever for 2 days and I gave him paracetamol Calpol , yesterday he was fine but from morning he has fever, I gave him paracetamol Calpol still he has fever what can I do Plsss suggest with this

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. You can give paracetamol to the child for fever and this medicine can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
It is given according to the weight of the child and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
Important to do body sponge and give plenty of fluids to drink to prevent t t t dehydration and decrease body temperature.
Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
Higher medicines for fever is required or not will be told by the doctor
