#asktheexperts my daughter is having watery eyes with yellowish discharge since yesterday. when she woke up today morning, her one write was shut due to heavy discharge. i cleaned it wit cotton and lukewarm water. now it looks little reddish from outside. is it an infection?

A. Hello! Symptoms that you have mentioned are somewhat indicating conjunctivitis. Please avoid self medicating your baby in this condition. Consult your child’s doctor for a personal diagnosis and seek medical guidance in this matter.
