#asktheexperts my child was infected with chicken pox virus during 9th or 10th month of age.. should he still get vericella vaccination.. he is 17 months old now

A. if it is confirmed chicken pox then there is no need to go for vaccine More proper information and answer regarding this will be given by your personal doctor and you can contact your doctor for this You can check with nearest doctor also in your locality. Take care.

A. Children who have had chickenpox before one year of age may not stay immune and should receive the vaccine at the recommended times indicated above.
