#asktheexperts my child is about to be 2 years but he has not started speaking..He just says 2-3 words is it normal for child of this age to not speak.

Yes it is normal but if your child is understanding everything else other than speaking some three or four words then it is not a problem just try and speak to your child more and more kids even pick up by the age of 2 1/2 years in gender and if that does not happen then it would be a speech delay currently there is no problem with that
