#asktheexperts My baby's birth weight was 2.636. Her current weight is 4.8 kgs and she is 3 months old. Is this a good weight at this age ? And how much milk she should consume per day and per feed ?

A. In initial three months the weight gain is slow and after that the baby roughly gains around 500 gm weight every month till one year of age so keep feeding the baby on regular intervals

A. Yes Absolutely it’s a very healthy weight gain your child has gain more than two kgs in three months so that’s definitely gaining weight good weight with whatever feeding you are giving to the child so you can continue feeding the child in the same manner and pattern
