#asktheexperts My baby have the habit of finger sucking, I tried traditional method of applying neem oil, but still the habit continues. How to make him forget that?

A. hi ji , such habits take time to get rid of this but the thing is as you have tried the way which can worsen the situation , it will take little bit time more. but to overcome from this , its important to stay calm and positive. dont force your child , dont make fun of him or dont scold him for this . first ,check when and why child is doing this . mostly they do this out of stress ,anxiety or to get their parents attention
