#asktheexperts My baby got painless vaccine(hexa) for the first two doses(6w,10w) . Is it possible to switch to penta vaccine for the third dose? Does penta vaccine have better efficacy than hexa?

you can go for either painless vaccine or painful vaccine because both have got same effectiveness and efficacy and immunity. painless vaccines usually do not cause fever while in painful vaccine fever and pain will continue for 2 or 3 days. according to your preference you can choose any one of them
